What do you look for in a friend?

What do you usually look for in a friend? Does she/he has to be in a well known family or you prefer simple person. Do you have standard when you're choosing friends.
For me it doesnt really matter as long as she wants me to be her friend. I dont really choose my friends. Whoever comes and stays i consider my friends. How about you?

Hi angelbelle578,I do not think you should look for a certain thing in your friend before making someone a friend.If someone does not become your friend then you yourself can found the reasons.Friends are just made,you cannot search for a reason to make a friend.

Friendliness, Truthfulness, Loyalty, Honesty and good character is what i see look in friend. If he/she is true in friendship, then i don't see anything else which i have mentioned above.

for me a friend is someone you have fun with. a friend is someone you can depend on. someone you can trust, someone you can talk to be honest with and doesn't judge you and accepts you for the person you are. we all have our faults our strengths and weaknesses. no one and i mean no one is perfect even if we try to pretend we are. my one friend that i have known the longest and whom i see the most often has alot of problems has recently lost his mom and i just try to be there so he has someone to talk to about it. its really all we can do is be the best friends we can be when our friends need us. these are the times you truly know who your true friends are.
