If the friend borrow money, and I have more money, the amount of the loan amount is a blessing if I give (not more than the loan amount). So I was not too disappointed if the loan does not return. Stay as a loan.
Did you experience similar things?
How does your attitude?

i will tell you a short story; my father was a person with a lot of money..and he had a lot of friends, and help all with money...a lot of money. After he die, in our house don t come any friend of my father to ask us..kids i mean..if we need something, and all money who my father borrow his friends was "for ever"...so, now if i can help somebody i help, i don t ask something back...but never i don t borrow money, and never ask money for someody, i try to live just with what i have. EWas a good lesson. Friends are friends only when you will give something...if not...your house is empty. There are not friends

Normally i don't lend money to a friend or borrow money from a fiend.
In my opoion, nomatter you lend or borrow, later it will affect the relationship between you and your friend.
Better not to borrow or lend money among friends.

We have the same principles when it comes to letting friend/s borrow money from us. I usually allow them if I really have excess but if it is just enough. I cannot lend them money because I know it can make break our friendship. I don't want to think that the reason I cannot pay my utilities because I lend them my money. But if its an excess money, then even if they don't pay it back, it doesn't hurt by home budget.
