Do you have any extraordinary pets at home?

Currently I have two cats. This is really not extraordinary, but until some years ago, I had some rats. A lot of people are scared of rats. They thing that rats cause illnesses. But this is nonsense, rats don't cause illnesses, sometimes they spread maladies, but only these who live in sewers or elsewhere. Six years ago I took a spider on my hand as big as my palm. There's a prejudice that spiders are very venomous, but this doesn't apply to most of them. A year ago, I had a big snake on my arms, because my ex girlfriend's parents had one as pet.
My question is, do you have an extraordinary animal at home?

We have rhino beetles in the house. My brother own them. I didn't think it's extraordinary but not all people make them as pets. It is very easy to take care of them too. He only provided them with sugar canes. That creatures make a lot of noise and always fight for territory.
