Is Mac worth your money?

Im one of the lucky ones who were blessed to have been given a Mac. But as a sort-of-a-newbie user, I am just wondering if Mac really is worth its price. I appreciate all your input and comments regarding this matter. I hope to get more info on how to really maximize my Mac and all the other special stuff Mac has to offer making it worth every dime.

I agree with you. Got no prob with viruses unlike the Sony laptop we were using before.

I am using a Mac right now and I love it because the computer never seems to slow down! The Safari browser is simply amazing and very useful when searching for information and typing reports. I does take some time to get used to from using windows computer, but after you learn about all of the programs you can use, you will enjoy it.

Yes. At first, i have to familiarize myself with all its features, keys and commands. But now that Im getting used to it, it is indeed amazing and has some really cool apps like Front Row and Photobooth. The iLife pack is also very useful.

the only problem in changing from a windows to mac is that you have to familiarize yourself with the interface of a mac and also you have to switch all ur current programs over. but nowadays if you buy a mac the people you buy it will generally help with that. overall i think mac is by far the worth the money, it dosent have problesm with virusus ( however not for the reason you think. the real reason is that only like 3 or 4 % of computers out there are macs. so hackers dont bother wasting there time) it dosent freeze nearly as often. ive only mentioned 2 but i could go on forever
