nowdays,as economic crisis is still serious everywhere, so saving money, DIy, Making best use of moeny are very popular now.
here in China, in some B2B,C2C shopping website paid attention on first hand , or called new products selling. but now they paid lots attention on second hand shopping. i know in some western countries it;s very common to see some second hand market.but to me, to Chinese, it still costs time to get used to this condition,
to me, i think i might not like to buy second-hand products.
first i think i am able to buy new one, second,i think second hand is an old thing... i dont know why but i think secnd hand products are strange...
how do u think about second-hand products?
will u buy second-hand Products?
thanks for reading
best wishes

It depends, if the price of the brand-new is not really have a big difference with the second hand one, then I will rather buy the brand new one. But if the difference is about 50% or more, I'll take a look at the quality of the product if it still good in good shape or not. Sometimes you it's better to buy a brand new one, you can save more from the repair fee, and it has a warranty period.

I just want to add more, if it's something to wear like clothes, I rather buy brand new, coz you can find good quality in less price, why settle for something already used..

Yes I'd definitely buy second hand products, but only, guitars, guitar effects, vinyl albums, anything vintage, collectibles and cars. Other than that I'd buy everything brand new. Second hand guitars are the best specially if they are vintage already also for cars. Collectibles are also bought second hand but they should be unused or unopened. Just don't buy personal products second hand. Cheers!

I don't mind second hand products, only if it's in good quality, rare to find and the price is reasonable. Sometimes trash to others can be fortune to us. We don't have yard sales here, if not, I might love to go there. But I don't buy used clothes, I can wear what others have wear.

I think it is a good idea to choose a second hand product.for example i bought a desktop few months ago. but i only bought a new mainframe box,and equiped a second hand monitor with little money.so i save a lot of money ,i use this part of money buying others.
sometimes second hand products is enough for your use and no need to afford a new one unless you have extra money.

I actually buy secondhand clothes. Here in the Philippines, we have stores called ukay-ukay.These stores sell secondhand and/or vintage clothes, shoes, home decors and furnitures.I actually have a lot of clothes from ukay-ukays which are really nice and in good condition.A lot of my dresses cam from ukay-ukays.I don't see anything wrong with purchasing secondhand products as long as they are in good condition, still wearable/usable,and worth the price.

I have saved thousands a year by buying just about everything second hand, from clothes to food! I buy seconds or discounted food items, and clothes, shoes, toys, purses, hats, coats, gloves, TVs, radios, bikes, cars, furniture, lawn mowers, air conditioners, stoves, washers, dryers and yes, even this computer second hand! It runs great and it only cost me $30.00!!!! YES, I buy second hand and I don't see anything wrong with doing it!

It's awesome! I LOVE buying used clothes, books, movies, and so on. There are a few things I WON'T buy used, obviously, but you can buy QUITE a bit of stuff used - and you save SOOO much money as a result. For example, if I were to buy a sweater at a normal store, new, it might be more convenient, but I'd pay $40-$50 for it (maybe a little less if it's on clearance or if there's a sale going on), but at thrift stores or "second-hand markets", you can buy sweaters for as little as $2. It's AMAZING, and the best thing is? You never really know what you're going to find, usually something unique - that no one else will have. I think buying second-hand is a win-win situation for everyone involved.

I love to buy second hand, I love deals!! My hubby has a refurbished smart phone that he paid $30 for, that was 1 year ago. the original cost of this phone was $300!! Deal! I love ebay and buy so many things on ebay. I also like to go to yard sales. I can safely say that I have saved thousands shopping second hand and with 2 kids, that is awesome!!

I have always bought used books, used cars and used houses. I have also bought some used furniture and have made it new after upholstering it. I don´t buy second hand clothes but do use handmedowns.
In my country, many people dress entirelly with second hand clothes and I think it´s a very good way of recycling. The clothes have to be sanitized before they are sold so there´s no problem.
Take care

I buy somethings used but not clothing. I can usually find new clothing on sale for about the same price as you can get them at the thrift stores.
Books are a good deal used because reading a book doesn't usually make it any less desirable to the next person who gets it.

Hi there!
Given the choice, I would not like to buy second hand things, because we cannot be sure about use of second hand things, how the first person used it. I always prefer to buy new/fresh items/gadgets for my household. Once or twice I bought a second hand music system that it is in good condition and is being sold on dirt cheap price, I got carried away by the reduced price, however, later on it developed some defects and from then onwards I decided that I'll not buy second hand stuff.

As far as my online purchases were, most of them were second hand. It is a bit odd at first since most of the things one could think about when they get second hand items would be that it might not last long anymore as the previous owner had already used it. On the lighter side, in case your going purchase an item that you still want up to now, you can get it on a more affordable price compared to one which is brand new.
We'd sometimes think it over, should we pay for our money's worth. It seems that when you buy something brand new, you really know that you can get all the benefits of it being brand new. Be it from store warranty and all services that the warranty covers. When you buy something second hand, the only guarantee that you can depend on is from the one who sold you the second hand item. Sometimes, it rather hard to depend on such deals.
Yeah, times have surely changed and most of really need to save some money for more important things. Then again, if you can't resist on purchasing your interest, you can consider second hand one. Some of the second hand items that I have bought online and are still working alright would be this Graphic Tablet that I bought when I was still into digital work and this gaming hand held, Sony PSP.
If your going to buy something second hand, you might as well buy it from someone that you can trust, perhaps friends?

Well yes, but only electronic products, because electronics stuff are expensive, so i rather think for the 2nd hand products, but i only manage to buy 2nd hand goods that still have guarantee on it, no matter how long the guarantee is.So my answer is yes for certain kinds of goods
