The two finalist of last years tournament were beaten yesterday. I guess that shows the uncertainty of twenty20 games and that the team which plays well on the day wins. So who do you think will win todays game between the Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab. Delhi have been named as the favourites for this years title. I feel it will be a close game, I dont really know who to pick. Who do you think will win? And who will be the Man of the Match?

Can you call it a match? It was nothing but a ....!
I mean DD only played 5 overs and they won by 10 wickets. This was no exciting at all but DD started their account the same way they did in last year. I think RR and DD are at the same platform. RR lost last year too and this year too, I am talkinga bout first match!

You should have seen somewhere else rather than waiting for people to reply here. Any way, this was not an exciting match, mainly because of the rains. Both team played well, Vettori bowled superb, and at the end Sehwag led Delhi to open their march in style...DD won by ten wickets...

with Gelen Mcgrath and Denial vetori DD's bowling line is strong and they have the best opening pairs. In the middle order they have Maharoof who is an excellent bowler too.
On the other hand, Yuvraj singh is lacking S Sreesanth and B lee. These two were their best bowlers last year. I don't think they have much chances this year.
I see DD as the winner for the match!

Thanks for replying champ. yes they have the most devastating opening pair in International cricket and their bowling also looks good. Lets wait and see what happens, at the moment rain is playing spoils. Hopefully it gets dry and we can get a good game.

Match is over and I am really dissapointed, first the match was cut to 12 overs and then it was cut to only 6, out of which DD played only 5 of them. I think with Viru and Gauti on crease the target should have been 75 runs in 6 overs. That would have been interesting.

Yes it wasnt all that that exciting. You can partly blame the timeout for that. The timeout wasted at least 3 overs that could possibly make the match more exciting. Cricket and Money do not mix really well. Hope we get good playing conditions for other games.
