Unusual cat toys

Do your cats like to play with anything less than a "toy"? For example my cats like to roll around in the bath tub with a roll of tp and basically shred it. *sigh* The youngest alsolikes to play with my son's old bottle nipples. It's hilarious sometimes she's got it hanging out of her mouth just so to look like I should offer her the rest of the bottle *LOL*

LOL YES. My cats love paper bags and LOVE to hide in them (and pretend like no one else can see them). Unfortunately for my sofa, they also like "playing" on it (and by playing, I mean scratching and causing a nusance). Also, my youngest cat likes to play with my hair when I'm sleeping (she loves batting a piece of my hair around and chewing on it! It sounds cute, but it's actually really annoying..It's like JEEZ! Leave me alone already!) Isn't it nice that we don't even need to pay for cat toys? And our cats can be so resourceful?

That's soo true other than the cute balls w/ the bells I dont' buy anything. Though I gave up on the balls cause of course they like playing with them when we're trying to sleep not when we want to play with them.

Thank you for making me laugh! TP rolls are fun for animals and kids, too. We used to make castles with them. Cats are so funny! I have a stray that I feed and he was playing with a stray piece of paper the other day when I took his food out. It's so strange, he'll meow at me and rub up against the steps and sit about 8 feet away from me on the porch and purr but won't let me near him.

My cat likes bags and boxes the most. Sometimes though she will play with anything that is on the floor. If there is a piece of random paper or anything she has a blast with it. Sometimes she does weird stuff like attacking the wall, I have no clue what she is doing but it's great to watch. LOL

Oh yes. When I visit home from college, one of my mother's cats will find whatever I brought in with me - usually my laptop bag, or my flip flops - and lie next to it and roll all over it, scratching and clawing, the same way she reacts to catnip. None of the cats really play much with toys.

My cat loves to play with bottle caps. When he was younger he'd litterally steal them the moment you would set one down. He also likes to play in the toilet, thankfully he doesn't do that often.
