I don’t want the cell phone with lots of functions .I just need a cell phone that
can receive and can make telephone call. I have bought one with less money and less
functions. But still can receive and dial the call. If you want to photo, you can
buy a camera which is not expensive today. And can photo yourself more clearly. If
you want to watch movies, you can buy mp4 instead, and that will more clear and
more styles for the movies. Also mp4 is not expensive now. and I don’t always
watch movies from my cell phone. Because I can use mp4 which I have just bought
from internet not expensive with capacity of 4G, recently I nearly watch 2 films
use my mp4. I have watched many movies from it which just 30 dollars. I always use
my cell phone to listen something which I download from internet, because the voice
is very loud, so I can’t use earphone still can listen the voice from the cell
phone.
Best wish.

I would LOVE an iPhone. In fact, I'm saving up for one right now on SwgaBucks. And I'll probably get it by next Christmas at the rate I'm going at. . I would love a multi-function phone because it would be my everything. In my purse, you'll find an iPod, a prepaid cell phone, a GPS (when I can borrow it from my sister), a pedometer, and so on. The iPhone pretty much can do all of this. It would save me A LOT of space, to put it plainly.
I can understand why someone wouldn't want this type of phone, though - easy. It's not simple enough; it's not straight-to-the-point. I've also heard of people having a lot of technological problems with the phones - and sometimes they run slow as a result of having so much to do. But I would still love to have one, regardless.

I guess it has to do with personal preferences... I don't really care for a phone with a lot of functions on it... I had blackberry pearl only because I needed it for work but now that my work provided me with laptop, I switched to more basic phone that only does calls & some text messages...

I have a cell phone only for emergencies. The only time I use it is when one of my sons need me and I'm not at home so I don't care about all the functions, I just want to be able to talk and call. I never talk or call when I am driving.

the only thing i need my cell phone for is outgoing and incoming calls. that is it. i do not need to text message or watch videos or anything else but use it for what it was meant for in the beginning. i think it has gotten out of control. how much do you need to be in touch with people on a daily basis? if i am busy or driving i will not answer my cell until it is convenient for me to do so. years ago if someone called your home and you were not there they had to wait for you to get back to them so i do not need to be at everyone's beck and call 24 hours per day. i do find it convenient for not missing important calls though no matter where i may be.

Hi,
I would like to have PDA phone that has a lot of functions such as touch screen, music playing facility, camera, able to access the Internet and large storage facility. I can use the functions on the phone when I am boring while commuting alone. Although I can use an MP4 to listen to music and watch movie, I still think that the phone should have such functions.

I don't have now a cell-phone with lots of features.
But I want to have one? Sometimes at some places we might regret that hope we would have a better phone.
- Capturing Pictures
- Listen Music with better Speaker Quality
- High Speed GPRS
- Good in looks and Easily to Operate
I don't even have any other good option such as I-pods or PSP so I would be happy to have a cell-phone with better features.

I totally agree with you. Sure, I do want a nice phone but the truth is that I never or rarely am going to use its functions. I have a ipod touch and the purchase of a iphone would be pointless because I can do everything on my ipod touch that I can do on my iphone except for make calls. I think that you only need to get what features you need and save the money.

I want a simple cellphone that only can text and can call. Having a fancy cellphone is a luxury. If you combine many functions to a cellphone it is a possibility that you experience malfunctions. Now that we experince the recession I think buying a fancy cellphone is not advisable.

well many ppl would love to have the latest tech gadgets and all other features in their cell phones and then obviously show off in front of their colluges friends etc, while some actually use those features to make their lifes easier
for my i keep a phone to call and talk and stay connected with friends, i won't mind having a low cost phone or a high cost one, unless the phone does not include "talking" lol like the iphone i rly hate it, its annoying to see they function in some countries while don't support others and we have to switch to their respective brand or service providers in order to use them

Seems like people here are loving iPhone too. I like iPhone's features. While using an iPhone for internet browsing or multimedia purposes, sometimes we would forget that thats gadget has sold as a cellphone, not a mini tablet pc. I'm waiting for HSDPA supported iPhone.

In fact I don't really fancy those nitty gritty stuffs on the cell phone. I just need a cell phone that can be use as a basic phone function and probably an addition 1 - 2 functions that I commonly use. That will be enough for me. It would be best to be able to configure the functions of a cell phone according to our needs. :)

Well, like you, i'm not really fond of cell phones with lots of functions..I mean it's great if it's all in one kinda phone but i'm afraid it'll lag or something and you'll have to buy the extra memory card if you want to download music and movies all in one place. And i bet the price is gonna be wayy too expensive for me. I think i can afford to buy a phone, and and ipod touch with the money...haha ^_^

I also don't want to use a cell phone for various purposes. I want to use it to receive and make calls. I think people who uses cell phone most of their time, use it to make calls. Students, I think, like to have a cell phone with many functions. Specially, they like to enjoy music from their cell phones. When I am busy at my works, I don't like my cellphone even ring.
The main function of a cell phone is to call; other functions like camera, video, music, game, various themes all, I think, just some marketing techniques from the mobile companies. Just answer me one question; can your cell phone take a better picture than your digital camera or with which do you feel comfortable while taking a nice nature picture? Best wish.
