What is your opinion about MMK admin's decision to reduce rates by 75%?

Obviously, I need opinion as a moderator. I've seen a quick thread in the reports and complaints section about a petition to reduce GC value by 50% instead of 75% Here's the real story, ceo (MMK admin) still wants to keep the site running, but he cannot sustain them anymore on his own after suffering a large loss in the forex industry. And we know that it's not the best option at all for MMK to stop paying but still continue on running. The last thing we can do in order to keep the site running and still paying is a drastic step which is to reduce the Gold Coin value by 75%, therefore 4 GC's will equate to 1 cent, instead of the 1GC=1cent conversion. I would like to make it clear that we are not going to keep this rate so low, do not worry, we have decided to accept sponsorship and advertising (which we are now working on) From now on, the GC value is greatly affected depending on our efforts to gather sponsors.' I'm now open to your opinions. Respond in an EDUCATED manner, do not attempt to blatantly flame-rant me or I will mark it as spam.

Being honest, I don't like this. In my opinion 50% would be still a good rate but 75% just too low. Uou could put banners or popups in your forum, they wouldn't bother me and I think others also understand.

Hi! Can i have the permission to take some of your post here to my blog? Anyway, its better to continuously run the site instead of quitting. More likely, the chances are more people would think that the site is a scam. I am a member of the site but im not active. Just make an assurance that deduction of the value of gc would be temporarily only and you will still going to pay members. Goodluck.
