Hey, separate the rotten ones from the good ones because they tend to infect all the good ones too. I don't eat rotten apples, but I do try to save as much as I can to the good part by cutting out the rotten part. If your family doesn't really like eating apples and you have a lot of them, then why not make an apple pie or apple cake? It's quite easy to make and I'm sure they'd like to eat it. Here's how it's made: Core the apples, then peel them each, slice as thin as possible. Then in a pan, melt or caramelize 1cup of sugar. Put the caramelized sugar in a oven safe dish or container then turn slowly to the side so that caramelized sugar would cover the sides and the bottom of the pan, then refrigerate this to make it hard. After a few minutes, arrange apples one layer, then add orange zest and a little sugar, do this layer by layer until you fill the dish to the brim. Put in 250 degree (pre-heated oven) then bake for 5 hours. I just saw that on television, and I'm planning to make one soon. Since you have the apples already, try to make it yourself. At least it could last longer in the fridge than those apples getting rotten. Good luck!

I would cut away the rotten part and eat the rest - probably eat that one first but, if I was having two a day it wouldn't really make much difference.
