I like parakeets because are colourful. I have a pair of parakeets and one of them pass away two weeks ago. Another parakeet pass away today, It's pass away too sudden and I don't know why? Do you know why a parakeet pass away without any sickness? It was ok last night, I still play with him.

Yes, I love parakeets. Parrots are one kind of the smart birds. They can be trained to perform. And parrots have a body of beautiful, colourful feathers.
So sorry to know that both your parakeets have passed. It could probably because of old age?

Yes, they can be trained to perform and they love to do it, they are so clever that they can be trained and know what their owners want them to do.
I had a parakeet before, I love them very much, it loved to follow me in my house.

I owned two pairs of parakeets up until now, but out of four only one remains. I love them because they're colourful and playful, if they are outside their cage and roaming about the room I can never tire of watching them having fun. I have fun just by watching them.

I love parakeets too. I have been to Australia which has been called the land of parrots. There I saw Port Lincoln parakeets there. They are known as the 28 parrots and I wondered if that refers to their calls or the many colors of on them. The Princess of Wales parakeet is larger and so very beautiful. I am sorry to hear one of your parakeets passed away. Parakeets can be delicate and illness in them can be subtle sometimes.

Hi janiceines,I like them.I had a couple of them but now they are no more.I liked their colors most and how they used to wander around the cage. They are so beautiful to look at is not it?I really miss them still, but I do not want to buy new pair.It is better that they are in free under the sky.

I am sorry to hear that. We also have two parakeets in our dormitory, one is blue and the other is green. We bought them in the plant and bird market near our school one month ago. We have to go to the classroom almost everyday and we do not have enough to take good care of them, however, the two little birds are health hitherto. I do not know what's wrong with your birds, did they eat some bad food or get some serious illness?

That's so sad to hear, I'm sorry for your loss. I also have 2 parakeets, different breeds though. I would be so devastated if they were to pass away :(
One of my parakeets is green (with yellow and red) and the other is all yellow, they're so beautiful (if loud!) ;)
