i came up with this topic because i heard lots of different love stories from friends. i had to dig deeper about the love's origin and i found them in stories, stories from real couples.i just find it amazing on how two different persons meet each other. looking back at one's love story sometimes teaches us lessons about true love and sacrifice. before i will ask each of you iwanna share mine. my husband and i are not really real bf/gf. the nature of my job before was travelling and i happen to hop in to his car. that's why our theme song is passenger's seat.we alson don't share the same faith. it was really hard since both families are against the thought of having the two of us in different faith. but because of love we made it through and live happily and i hope ever after.what's your story?

I met my soon to be husband at work. It's a crazy story... I worked 3rd shift at a gas station at the time and he worked 2nd shift so he came in for coffee and cigs after work. We both were in really bad relationships and ended up talking about all our problems and trying to help each other out. After about 6 months he had moved in with a friend and I ended up finally kicking my ex out around the same time. My future husband and I had not not seen each other for a few weeks and when we finally saw each other again it seemed to be a relief we were both single. We started "dating" but very discreetly. I have three children and he has one so we didn't want to jump into other relationships too quickly. After I guess a year we finally were able to be open about it and will be married soon!

My story is an interesting one, or so I am told. I met my husband at a camping event. We both got dragged by our friends to the event. Well, I should mention first off that I was never a gal that believed in love at first sight, true love, or any of that stuff. I always had a firm head on my shoulders and though love was bunk.
Anyways, while i was unpacking my tent, I looked down toward the lake, and there he was, in the moonlight by the lake, i just said outloud "wow." My friend was like what? (oh I should mention my friend was a guy, and he was 7'2"...we called him Matthew the Giant...this has relevance later I promise) Anyways I answered my friend, with just one phrase, "thats the man I'm gonna marry"
I have no idea where that came from, but I was set in the moment, dropped my tenting gear and headed straight to him. We introduced ourselves, and then proceeded to spill about our lives. It was odd, like some force was making us spill our guts lol. (my husband is a quiet man who does not like to share his past or thoughts, so the fact that he did that with me, a complete stranger was amazing)
Thats when my friend Matt came up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder. And thats when my future hubby darted off. Took me a couple hours of searching about for him, he decided to go down a hiking trail. But when I did I asked him what I did wrong. He said, well you didnt mention you had a boyfriend. I busted up laughing and told him Matt was just a friend, and he was like thank god, he is HUGE!
Well, we stuck to eachother like glue the entire weekend. On Sunday mere hours before the trip would be over and we all had to head back home, he told me he loved me. I told him I loved him too. And he exclaimed how he didnt want to lose me. I just smiled. My heart was sinking. He lived in Louisiana (on the border of Texas) and I lived down by Miami. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I cried and told him yes.
We had other things happen in between but needless to say 3 months later we were married. So, in 3 days we were engaged, and in 3 months we were married. We are still togehter, and still have people ask us if we are newlyweds. We still love eachother so very very much. We have been together 12 years.
So, there's my fairytale :)
