What are your opinions on becoming a magpie at twitter?

As with most social network sites twitter also has a way to earn money through becoming a magpie. A magpie is someone who publishes ads on twitter and has the potential to earn from these ads.The more you tweet and the more followers you have the more potential you have to earn.
Do you think this is a good idea, or do you think people will stop following you as a result of these extra ads?
I dont have a problem with the ads as long as people are communicating with me rather than posting ads constantly. You can set your number of tweets to one in 10 for every update you post, so they wont be that frequent anyhow.

This is very interesting. I need to learn more about the way all of these things work. It seems there are a lot of opportunities and resources around if you know how to properly take advantage of them.
