Hey there MyLotters! :D
I can't believe I haven't asked this question yet, being a big fan of music. :P
What musical instruments can/do you play? I started playing the piano when I was 4...Then learned the violin at age 13. The following year I studied guitar (that was the time when I watch School Of Rock which was the thing that inspired me to study :P) Then last year I watched Amelie and I really wanted to play the main soundtrack (La Valse d'Amelie) xD so I bought an accordion off an auction site. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue my studies further since the accordion I got had leaks so it became very difficult to play. So now I'm back to focusing on the piano. Just discovered New Age music. Hehehe. :D What about you? What instruments do you play?

I played the recorder in school and played a bit of the keyboard at home. However, I don't know how to play a musical instrument extensively. I think that it's great to know how to, but I'd rather be self taught then to spend money on something such as that. I know that must sound very rude, but I assure you I mean no insult.
You must be very talented!

I completely agree with you! :D I don't think it's neccessary to go through formal schooling when studying music. In fact, all these instruments I know, I learned them through self-studying. ;) I've never set foot to a classroom to study some musical instrument. With all the resources available on the internet, you almost study by yourself with no guidance. Cheers :)
