i have undergone the starting rites in a sorority... they slapped me more than 10 times and it was all hard slaps, weak ones would cry but i was numb then because of a heartbreak... i just wanted to be more numb. I had all their passwords etc and all that secret stuff from them but i didn't go for the initiation because i wasn't that stupid. LOL

There were sorority gangs and all that in our area when I was growing up as well. Though it didn't even cross my mind to try and be part of their group.

I just wanted someone to hurt me physically... I was crazy then because my heart got all broken and my friendship group, too. I was even grinning when they were slapping, I just tried not to laugh because I think they were stupid for thinking that I was scared of them. All I didn't know was that I was stupid for even being there. But I'm still thankful, I didn't go all the way to the final initiation even if I have friends within a fraternity master.
I was so stupid and idiotic then. I was a dummy... a broken one that became so numb. LOL

Good thing that you didn't go all the way with that group. You'll never know what would happen if you did. I think you made the right decision in stopping at a time when you still can.
