Wow, 10 years. Do you remember where you were and what you were doing? I do. I was stunned. I remember thinking that this was the most horrible thing ever, utter shock. It makes me so sad to think about how many shootings have occured since that day, I don't even know how many...10 -15? More? Uhhh, so sad that some of these shooting were in "honor" of the orignal black coat guys, or whatever they called themselves. So sad....

I hadn't realized it had been 10 years. I think it happened in 1994 or sometime around that time. I didn't hear it on the news or didn't even know it happened until I watched "Bowling for Columbine" - a Michael Moore documentary. (Have you heard of it or seen it? It's really..sobering, as is the whole situation, actually). I think I was about 4 at the time of the massacre and it just blows my mind; the whole thing - the actual event AND the aftermath of it. It was like a witch hunt for anyone who was "different" (and therefore deemed dangerous/homicidal) after these two psychos went off. It makes me sad. I think in a way, there's still a lot of discrimination towards "different" people or maybe people who aren't as social as others around them. It's sad, and I'm not sure what we learned as a result of it or how these types of tragedies could be prevented.
