I just subscribed to this neat little daily digest. I was wondering how they choose which discussions, out of thousands, to put in the digest. I also wonder how similar one person's digest is to others, so I asked my Mom to forward several of hers to me (She probably sent about 20!!) Since I only have a few days worth of them, I want to compare the ones I got to what she did.
Are you a subscribier to the digest?
Have you ever seen one of your discussions listed?

I used to get the digest, but I decided not any more. I am sick and tired of questions that require a one or two sentence answer. Some days, they are good, and other days it is not worth your while. I decided to go put notify me on some of my friends and answer theirs, and then go to the regular myLot page if I had time left over and respond to them. I did see one of mine in the digest a few times. Naturally my posts require more then a one or two sentence answer.

I admit that I don't answer too many from the digest, but I still like to look at them. Sometimes they have a good one.

When I was very new to myLot,I red the digest for about 3 days. as I have included lot of interests, the digest will also be a lengthy one So I stopped reading that one and now I am deleting it after having a glance fro about just one minute.

They all seem to be the same length. I just went through the ones my mon sent me and saved them to answer later. I never knew about it and I think it's kinda neat.
Thanks for responding.

I didn't sign up for it, I just got it automatically. I don't think it is really that selective of a process. I've been in it a lot of times, although not lately. It would help I guess if I posted more discussions. I once had three discussions in the digest in one day, one mylot digest, and I noticed my star number went down. I'm not kidding. Although I think it is a random selection, I think people were mad at me for that!

Yes, I have subscribed to the digest as well as seen a few of my discussions listed on there. It may be silly, but I feel kind of proud when I see a discussion that I had started listed in the digest.
I'm not exactly sure how they choose which ones to put. But I'm guessing whichever has the highest amount of responses within an interest in a 24 hour period. That and whatever interests are the most popular on ones list. After all, I have a ton of interests on my list, yet only so many show up in the mylot digest. Go figure!
