I actually picked up the first book at a bookstore a few months back and had no idea at the time of how popular they were. I remember going to get the second book and they were all sold out. My mom and my grandmother both have read the whole series as well now. I haven't watched the movie yet, I'm not sure if I will because usually I like to watch the movie first and then read the book.

Yeah I read twilight and new moon. I am currently on eclipse. my girlfriend got me caught on to it before the first movie was even being talked about. Lol kinda funny how after I had read the first one it became a popular series, especially with the younger crowd. Sitting through the premiere with a bunch of teenage girls screaming at the top of their lungs every time "Edward came on the screen"...::sigh::.

I have not read, but maybe I prefer the look of books, because books are usually written in more detail, and can let you play a lot of imagination.

If you are a visual reader these books will make the story into a movie in your head.

I haven't seen the movie, or read the novels. But it's something that I hope to be able to do soon. I've just been so busy with school work and everything that I just haven't had the opportunity to read the novels, or watch the movie. But now that summer is coming, hopefully now, I'll get the chance to.

So far, I LOVE the Twilight series. I have read the first and second book. I bought them both in paperback. I am now waiting for the third book to come out in paperback. I believe it comes out next month in paperback, I can't wait!! I've also seen the movie. I like the movie, but I really enjoyed the books more. It's a great series and I'd definitely recommend it. At first I didn't think the series would be for me because I'm not into vampires at all. Plus, I thought it was a series for teens and I'm in my mid twenties! But I read it and enjoyed it!!

I've seen the movie, though most of my friends love the book version but haven't really flip through it's pages. Anyway, I remember watching the movie , not for the fanatic fever reason but just to relax and enjoy the afternoon with my long time no see buddies. I'm sorry for Twilight fanatics out there but I have to be honest, I find the movie just not worth my bucks. I mean, I'd like those that have more meaning and wisdom and sense. And I especially don't like Cullen's lines, it's like too unreal, some cliche lines that girls would like to hear, and I'm afraid it's only words, & some girls might end up in foolish daze.
However, I like the cinematography, the characters too, and I like welcoming vampire family, but the thought that they're vampires don't really interest me. Real sorry, but just my opinion. ^-^
