How long have you been in the place where you currently work?

Is it just me or are there others out there who feel like they are stuck with what they know and beginning to feel stupid compared to the rest of the world? Sometimes I feel like I need to go back to school and study, just so I could learn things that I dont normally learn while I'm at work.

I am currently at Ritz camera which is closing about 50+% of their stores I have been there since august '08 and was just getting settled and wham!!! I just found out my sore is closing about a month.

I've been with my current work for almost 5 years now. It's my first job and since then I haven't even got promoted yet. Not nice and yes it feels like I'm stuck. Last November, I finally realized that I should start to learn something new, something that could help me find a new job. Since then, I've been studying some short courses during weekends. And yes, I'm learning a lot. I love the challenge of studying and taking exams again.
