Where and how do you study best

When I was younger I preferred to be around a lot of commotion in order to do my homework and studying. As I've gotten older, though, I find that I need more quiet in order to complete my work and get it done efficiently. Am I alone in this? What way is best for you to study and why? I'm always interested in how other people do things.

well i quite agree with you about how i did homework in past and how i do it now.well but i don't consider homework as a part of study . because most of the time they are very easy and not at all challenging , so most of the time i do my school home work listening to music. but when i do work on my own , i prefer to do it in a silent place where even the clock doesn't tic.well because i give myself challenging questions to solve.
