Would you move to start over on your life?//

I was born and raised in CT. I have lived in other states but it never last more then a year i always manage to find a way to come back home.. I have a few really good friends here in CT who i love so much and this is just my home.. IF you have read my other discussions you would know that i have some marital problems, My question is in my shoes would you move to a difrent state where you dont know anyone at all leave your friends behind and start a new life start all over.. Ive been contimplatin this but i dont know if i should or not.. I guess im scared of going some where and feeling completely alone.. Not have my friends there when i need them or me be there for them when they need me.. Even though it just feels like a good idea to move me my husband and my kids and start all over and just be happy or try to.

People often believe that moving and making a fresh start is the answer to marital problems but that's not true. Whatever the underlying problems are in the marriage, they will follow to the new location and then you're also adding adjustment issues, lonliness and the loss of the support system you have with family and friends nearby. So, IMO, it's not a good idea to move far from home under these circumstances. I've been there...done that...and so have other couples that I know. It never works out.
