what can you say about johnny depp's characters in his movies?

i mean, i love johnny depp..his movies are great..he makes sure that his character stays with people, unlike other actors or movies whose characters or story lines are so dense...
there's edward scissorhands, cry baby (i think), pirates of the carribean, charlie and the chocolate factory, sweeney todd and others...
so what can you say? do u agree? or do you find him weird?

I like Johnny Depp and he is my favorite actor as well, same with my boyfriend so we watch his movies together. He is not weird at all. Johnny Depp is a very good and versatile actor. Thats why the director Tim Burton , likes Johnny Depp very much for his movie roles. I even have an 18-in-1 DVD collection of his movies.

i once did an article for helium.com on the topic "should actors stick to one genre?" and i gave johnny depp as one of the examples.
johnny depp is only one of his kind. he does offbeat characters that no one else can give the same justice to. it took him long and unsuccessful attempts to finally find a genre that works for him.

I think Jonny Depp is one of the best actors I've ever seen, I loved him in Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd, Secret Window, Edward Scissor Hands, The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, and some of his other movies.
I just can't really forget his characters either, they kinda stick with you, they're hard to forget, whether he's playing a barber that's been wronged and is seeking revenge, a write that loses his mind while trying to write his next story while dealing with a divorce, or even a pirate looking for eternal glory, freedom, and of course rum.
