I read the news about Slumdog Millionaire child actress Rubina Ali's father trying to sell her to the highest bidder, and I was sick to my stomach. I don't have any kids yet and when I do I will love them and provide for them a better future. So this act really pisses me off no matter the circumstances, your child is not for sale. I know that some families are thinking of their child's future by selling them to a rich family, still such act should be illegal, and both families involved should be punished. I don't know about you guys, but I will never ever sell my kids no matter what happens, and I will never be in favor of any family selling their kids to anyone. I want to hear your thoughts on this matter my fellow mylotters.

I can't believe this! Some people just should not have children. It is bizarre that people can be so cold and not seem to bond or have feeling for these little people they bring into the world. How very sad for the little ones psyche too. This morning I heard of a pair of twins girls that have a disease not unlike Alzeimer's in adults and the hours of research and all that the parents have done to try to help their poor child. Such pure love. And then this story- so sad! Just the difference in people and the lack of heart.

Hi there celticeagle. Yeah it's so unfair, I don't have kids yet and this guy goes of selling his own child. Really ironic isn't it?

Very. I hope it happens for you. Such a neat part of life for a woman.

Now this is absolutely insane! I can't believe that a father could actually do this. I just don't understand it. I can understand giving up your child for adoption, at the child's birth. This, I can actually understand. But selling your child, I can't. I just can't understand this. It's absolutely ridiculous. It could be just me, but it's what I think about this situation.

I agree with you if the child was given up for adoption it's a different story, but selling her is just insane!

I believe people like this should not be parents. I think she should be taken from him and given to a wonderful family. It makes me mad to hear stories like this. I hear a lot about human trafficking. I don't understand why anyone would do this to their child.
