The 'anti-racist' UN meetings earlier today started by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was boycotted by Israel, the US, Canada, and several other western European nations on the grounds that the Iranian President would use it to try and spread anti-Semitic views.
During the UN Secretary's speech the absence of these nations was called "dismaying" because it was not helping the UN's goals to build stronger global relations.
Once things got down to business and President Amadinejad began his speech, wouldn't you know it, it was completely anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, and completely racist in of itself. As soon as it became clear that his speech was just a effort against Israel 40 European candidates stood up and exited the Geneva conference room to the cheers of pro-Israel witnesses and protesters.
I can't support these 40 men and women enough. Anti-anything speeches do not belong at anything titled "Anti-Racism" especially racist direction to the most hated nation in history.
I also support all those nations who boycotted this Geneva meeting to begin with and I am glade to live in one of them.
I am proud to see Stephen Harper, Obama, and other world leaders who boycotted speaking out against this ridiculous attempt at Israel and her well being.
What do you think of all this?

Well... I don't have enough words to describe this horror which was this meeting. It was as if the concept and the speech weren't known long before the meeting started but... the show of 40 representatives standing up and leaving during Ahmadinejad's speech is an act that I hope would raise a flag of warning.
This man is the leader of a nation that would soon have nuclear weapons.
I hope now the world has seen the last proof of this man's evil - and I hope his people, who I believe most are innocent, won't suffer from this man's "aspirations".

North Korea (communist dictatorship), yesterday, offered negotiation talks to South Korea (capitalist partial-democracy).
And if North Korea and South Korea don't settle some issues with these discussions then I'm sure North Korea would be more than happy to sell some nuclear weaponry to Iran.

Israel is the only Democratic and free Nation in the Mideast. It is the only country where women are equal to men. It is the only country in the MidEast where Jews and Arabs and Christians can live side by side and own businesses and land and homes. It is the only country that collects taxes and then pays them to the Palestinians to support their people. The only problem is the Hamas Government keeps the money for themselves, the people never see it.
Israel is the only country that set up schools and hospitals for the Palestinians. When they turned over Gaza they also left them all of the hospitals and schools and homes. Hamas went in with bulldozers and knocked them all down. Destroying thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment that the Palestinian people needed dearly and school materials that they needed, not to mention the buildings themselves.
But, Iran wants to wipe Israel and the USA off the face of the earth because we are so horrible. But Obama likes Iran and wants to chat with their President. Sicko!

That's all very true.
Also, you have to respect that Obama would rather negotiate with Iran than just nuke them.

You have not seen this with your own eyes Uncool so do not testify to what you do not know. I have read your incorrect and incoherent opinions in other Posts but have said nothing. You really do not know anything about Israel or the Mideast while you sit in the comfort of Ireland, spitting out your idiocy and looking for pitty where you will never find it. Most of the time you do not even get the "truths" of your own religion right making me wonder if you are just having fun playing with peoples minds and do not have a religion.
I know what is happening in the Mid East. It is in my best interest to know what is happening there. To you of course it is of no concern. You can spill you density from anywhere.
I also know the true history of the Mid East not the lies that are taught today. Anyone can slowly change the truth if they really work at it consistantly. And there are many who wish this and have worked very hard at it. But the truth is out there.
You do not wish for peace you wish for only strife.

First: I didn't know about the news, thank you for sharing. I also like the point that you specifically mentioned praising Obama for a good act, lately I've only been seeing bad things about him even though his performance seems to really be good for the US citizens.
I also am against anything that is racist. I have found many people think lowly of my people (Filipinos) because most of our OFWs do service work abroad such as Care Giving, Nursing, etc. (There was a couple of british comedian who made fun of Filipinos in their skit: http://is.gd/tChH )
Thanks for the response on my discussion!
