Obama has not even been in office for 100 day yet he has increase the size of the national deficit by 2 trillion dollars. The brilliant Barack Obama's plan is to cut 100 million dollars out of governmental departmental spending. The 2010 fiscal federal budget was 3.9 trillion dollars which almost a trillion dollars is not paid for yet Obama want to cut a 100 million dollars. Basically Obama is cutting out of the budget one dollar for every 39 thousand dollars he is spending.

I think we can all agree that these are exceptional economic times and that this country's problems didn't start in January. I don't agree with much that has happened in the way of spending but I do agree that cutting federal spending and getting rid of waste is a positive step. State and local governments have had to do this so why not the federal government, too?

But it is like keeping your tires inflated as an energy plan. Sure it is fine if your car is running on flat tires but does not do me any good because my tires are always full. Cutting 100 million dollars by buying office supplies in bulk and other things is a drop in the bucket to get rid of waste. So we are going to save 100 million dollars while spending billions of dollars on projects that are not needed like studying some mouse in San Francisco.

Hey, I didn't say it was a big step...but it is a step. I had to laugh at your reference to fully inflated tires as an energy saving tip...that one has got my vote for the dumbest tip ever! Believe me, I'd like to get rid of all the wasteful pork as much as anyone else.

Maybe they need to stick a calculator on his teleprompter for him. Then he could do some of the math and maybe realize finally what he is actually doing monetarily to this country.
Wait, did they teach them how to use calculators in Kenya, I mean Hawaii?

This man is so Arrogant that he thinks we are stupid enough to accept this pittance as an honorable tax cut. How do you think that stands up to 3 trillion in BS spending? Besides the 100 million will really actually be spent. It is just a joke.
Just the other day they were calling 8 billion a drop in the bucket and today we are supposed to be impressed with a 100 million spending cut? What an idiot!!!! Millon,Billion, Trillion What does it matter to the Government? They aren't responsible. They are too busy right now saying that the previous administration was cetifiably Insane.

So he is interested more in increasing debt rather then get rid of it. I guess he wants Americans to be indebted to him not only for his 'brilliant' mind but also for his controlling their money and thereby ensuring their loyalty. There is a method of his madness. For one thing, since Americans will owe all this money, they cannot get forgiveness unless they bow down to his every demand.
I can see where he is going. The Egyptians had this plan thousands of years ago. There was a famine and each Egyptian became the property of the Pharaoh in return for getting enough money to plant their crops.

When I read that the first time this morning, I had to take a triple take I couldn't believe my eyes. In essence he is saying, "Hey, I promised you I'd cut government spending and I did." He is throwing his followers crumbs they can devour and repeat. So from now on we'll here that he didn't increase spending but in fact cut spending. Just like the now giant deficit is all Bush's fault and Obama just added a little to get us out of the mess... except the little is by far more than what Bush accumulated. They'll point forever at the puny savings to proof that he in fact saved us money.

i am not going to complain on how much he is spending because some of the money is going to a good cause the new childrens hospital in pittsburgh is getting some along with a few other places , plus there is no use in complaining its not going to make it change so whats the point , plus hes not the only one spending the money . if the money is going to good causes i don;t care how much he spends as long as things get done and no more bank or car dealership bail outs other than that if the money is going to help thigs i don't really care .
