Earning money away from the comfort of your family?

Do you think working abroad far from the comfort of being with your family was a good idea to secure their future. Maybe financially, but do you know that children that have a parent that was working abroad grows with an unpleasant behavior because they lack a member of his/her family, a mother or a father.
If you're one of those father or mother that works abroad, and having a break once in a year, how are you managing your family for a short period of time of your break from your work? How are you explaining to them or expressing them your thoughts and how much you love them that you are willing to work and be far away for them a long period of time?

Yes to a certain extend it can work .. that is creating a secure future for their kids .. But its more important that parents need to be with their kids while they are growing . coz this is the time kids needs their parents the most ..Most of the time parents earn a lot but their kids are spoilt ..Overall what I mean is that you need to decide whats best for your kids ..

Yeah I agree with you, cause I've been spending almost 20 years in my life less time with my father. He's been working in abroad for at least 10 years.

Hello, good day to you. In our country there are a great number of Filipino who do not have a job and they want to go outside the country to earn big, no matter how hard is job that they will get. This particular situation is happen in every graduating student who want to find job. I guess in my own opinion there are 60% of graduats want to work out side the country to earn money. People sacrifice their relation to their family from being far to them. Regarding to your discussion, I agree with you that people who are working from the other country and away from their children, really born not normal or what i mean is having a low discipline, this practical situation really happen for the reason their parents that are far didn't give a good advise to their child even they earn more money still there is missing in the part of them from being a parent which is the personal advise and from being their in times of their need and not. This matter do not realize by other worker that in order for a children to grow good they need to be with them, some other worker know it that's why they always go back visit their family which atleast they give time for family by working.
Well, with this matter when i will be finished in college and i will go find job in other country and for an instance that i already have kids and wife, i will still go to work in the other country and my plan is to give my best effort to earn money then after it i will go back again here in our country and just start a business so with my business I can asure to my family that i am alway there for them so they will no longer miss the good relation through them. I am not yet a parent but with economic crisis here in my country I will definitely go to other country for the future of my children. I will leave a better life to the other country where corruption are prohibited and not few are living a good comfortable life.
