What piece of software do you use most frequently?

When I go on the internet, I love finding new and fun pieces of software which are either free or have a trial. I was wondering what is the best piece of software you personally think, and how frequent you use it.

Thats a very good question.. I dont think i could narrow it down to one..
I use MSN alot to talk to my friends and keep in touch.
Photoshop is also a piece of software i seem to constantly using to edit and touch up photos.
Some other popular software i use would be Firefox, Steam & TeamSpeak.

It seems we have very similar minds, and interests and uses of software, as I use the identical pieces of software as you do. Every day I use a program called skype, which is free and briliant, you can talk to your friends for free and all you need is a microphone and speakers :)im not sure wheather or not you have skype but is a nice piece of software if you don't have it, skype I fully recommend!! :D

Ah yes! Skype is a very handy. I've used it alittle, but not many of my friends use it, so I dont really get the chance to use it. And im not to keen on talking to strangers on Skype!

In my case it would have to be Microsoft Office, with Excel being my favourite application.
I love using this spreadsheet and often create spreadsheets simply for the amusement of it. I have made many rather pointless spreadsheets for amusement only, such as a Lottery number picker or a wage calculator etcetera. Maybe I am just a sad old person with strange taste, but I do enjoy such things.

being a student of engineering, i found MATLAB an extremely powerful tool. although most people will be unfamiliar of it, because it requires a great deal of programming knowledge, and there would be many students who would even hate the name of this software, but the one who gets to understand the capabilities of MATLAB, the possibilities are endless. if you are into developing engineering applications, then this is the tool.
i am currently working on this software to make a fingerprint matcher

i use windowxp and games intalled in it.I mostly use packet tracer 4.1 software for cisco routers live practicing.

1. chatting- I use gtalk the most(because rest are blocked in our hostel!)
2. internet- I use firefox and chrome
3. download managers- IDM
4. music and videos- Winamp,VLC,MPC
5. web designing- Microsoft web stdio
6. Proxy - your-freedom and Gpass
7. compression- Winzip and winrar
and many more I have tons of software on my PC and I enjoy them a lot

I frequently use Windows Media Player. It's the software i never miss using everyday. From listening to music in the morning to watching movies at night before going to sleep. Well Windows Media Player is a bundle software which is included everytime you install Windows so i guess there's no issue about the use of it because it's free.
