Meghan McCain: Karl Rove's a 'twitter creep'

I really wish I knew what Meghan McCain's goals were. So far she's insulted Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham (although I think Ingraham started it), and now Karl Rove. Now I'm not saying she's wrong in her statements, I just don't know what she hopes to accomplish. I'll be the first to admit, Rove is creepy. Not as creepy as Cheney, but still creepy. That said, she's never met the guy and he's never said an unkind word about her. The fact that he follows her on Twitter says he may even be a fan. I just think it's rather rude and not something that will help her if a career in politics is what she's interested in. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/04/20/meghan-mccain-karl-roves-a-twitter-creep/ On a side note, I think Twitter itself is freaking creepy. It's just an internet stalking site to make life easier for stalkers that are tired of peeking in celebrity windows.

I'm starting to like her more and more. I really hope I don't have to cross over to the dark side if she ever decides to do anything politicially. About Twitter...I don't know anything about it, so I don't know if it's "freaking creepy" or not. lol

NOW I get it...Democrats can't say a thing about the children of Republicans, Republicans can't say much about the children of Democrats but Republicans can say anything at all about the children of fellow Republicans...lol! I'm not really sure what Meghan's goals are either but I think she's doing just fine. So she insulted Ann Coulter...Coulter IS a walking insult! You're right about Laura Ingraham, at least as far as I've heard; what was the purpose of her "plus size" remark? In my opinion, standing up to Karl Rove and speaking out against him will do her more good than harm if she has political aspirations. Anyway, I don't think there was anything wrong with what she wrote about Rove and I don't think she really meant to to be taken completely seriously. Personally the more I see of Meghan McCain the more I like her and seeing her makes me think more of her parents as well. She's obviously open minded and independent thinking and she got that from someone. Annie

Taskr, I was going to add a disclaimer to my first sentence so you'd know it was supposed to be a JOKE but I decided that wasn't necessary. I guess I overestimated you. Anyway, I'm sure not going to waste any sympathy on Karl Rove whether Meghan's remarks came across as "personal" or not. After all, this is the CREEP who called our Vice President a liar on national TV. Annie

Maybe that's because Biden did lie. To date not one person has corroborated Biden's story, while many say it's a load of crap. Bush himself has continued to take the high ground and not address such garbage.

"NOW I get it...Democrats can't say a thing about the children of Republicans, Republicans can't say much about the children of Democrats but Republicans can say anything at all about the children of fellow Republicans...lol!" What the he1l are you talking about? This isn't about anyone's children, this is about an ADULT who CHOSE to put herself in the national spotlight. We're talking about her because of what she chose to say publicly, several times. This has nothing to do with her relation to John McCain. Are you really unable to tell the difference between a discussion about public statements made by an adult and the inappropriate attacks on Bristol, Track, and Trig Palin? "In my opinion, standing up to Karl Rove and speaking out against him will do her more good than harm if she has political aspirations. Anyway, I don't think there was anything wrong with what she wrote about Rove and I don't think she really meant to to be taken completely seriously." She didn't really stand up to Rove. If she had talked about his refusal to acknowledge subpoenas and such that would make sense, but this was more on a personal level calling him creepy and acting as though he were some kind of stalker for adding her on Twitter. It just seemed kind of juvenile.

I think I might have an answer for you, Meghan is a lot like her father. Remember when John lost in 2000 against George, he became angry an started assaulting fellow Republican that had sided with George instead of him. We know that Ann Coulter made it public that is was not a fan of John McCain, though I do not know where Laura and Karl stood with John. I am just assuming that Karl and John are not on good terms because of his actions in the Senate. So to sum it up Meghan is mad at the world that her father lost and is lashing out at those that she thinks either did not help or hurt her father's campaign.

I guess for the same reason "we" care what Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham or Karl Rove has to say. Some may say she says what she has to say better than the above and actually makes sense now and then. If I were a Republican I'd be very relieved to see someone like her in my party. Annie

Not really. She is just looking for her 15 minuates. NOt saying she does not have a good point now and then. But some of the petty BS fight and bickering is just kindergarten stuff. THe last thing politics needs to more of that.
