The Minnesota Vikings lost in negotiations with a free agent player, who signed with Seattle Sea Hawks, because of
1. He played college football in the area.
2. A more stable quarterback situation
3. Washington State has no Income tax and that will amount to several million dollars over the life of his contract.
It seems that people are concerned about the tax situation and control over their being taxed.
