I'll be hitting the beach soon, and targeting puerto galera... as old as i am now (29) i've never been to galera :), I'll be with my wife and 3 year old daughter so we're looking for a nice place to go too with lots of activities for my young one and definitely looking also for a nice romantic mood for me and my wife (even if we have a third wheel hehehe). i'm currently looking at coco beach has anybody here been there? is it a nice place? is the food ok? how is the sand over there? any other recommendations would highly be appreciated. my budget is 20k-30k for 4d 3n to cover accommodation, food, port transfer, and activities... im planning to drive all the way to batangas port, is it safe to park the car at the port? thank you very much and hope to hear from you guys soon!

We were at Tamaraw Beach Resort las March 27-29 this year. I think it was really a good place especially if you don'w want the beach to be over crowded. It is just beside the White beach Resort whic is kind of crowded already especially at night. In Tamaraw Beach is quite the opposite since they are a bit secluded from the known Whitebeach but then if you really want to be in the noise and everything you can just walk over to the other beach resort. There is just some rocky trek you have to make before can reach the other side or if you want you can hire tricycle to bring you there. Also the food was also great in there too.

hmmm that seems interesting, although we're not really after the nightlife or the crowd and prefer the more secluded atmosphere. thanks for the reply!

There are lots of affordable resorts there to choose from. What we usually do is, go to white beach and choose from any of the low cost resorts there, then hire a banca to go snorkelling in the coral garden. Nightlife in white beach is good. Or, you can go directly to Sabang beach from Batangas port and choose a resort there. Sabang beach does not have much of a nightlife but the corals are just a few meters from the shore and are ideal for nature-lovers.
