Do you like to tell or share stories whether they be true or false? Do you like to talk about the past and things you've learned? Do you share this with just family or also with friends and people you've just met? Do you like to write them out on paper or tell them to people? Does it matter if your on the phone, on the computer or face to face? Do you leave things out when you tell a story?

Yes I like to tell stories about my like I have wrote a autobiography once.
I have wrote short stories. I share stories on things that I have learned accomplished or if I helped someone along the way of me learning something also.
Or me teaching someone what I have learned. I enjoy writing short poetry also.
No it dose not matter if it is on the phone on the computer or face to face. I usually don't leave things out when telling a story I tell it like it is. LOL

Writing is a great way to express oneself and get a lot of pent up stress, frustration or anger out. I know I used to write for this reason only, and ofcourse most of the stories were true, based on my feelings, or actually written without names being withheld, ofcourse I don't believe I shared those with anyone.
In any case, I greatly appreciate the response.

Yes I can understand that, sometimes some stories are meant for just you, or for just the family and not for everyone! I appreciate the response! Happy storytelling!

Hi there SomeCowgirl,
Stories are the beauty of the world hun, weather it suck or sad, or happy..The first thing a story told, that was the past for the teller, but it was a new information for the reader or people who heard it. i have many story in my head but the more i keep it in my head, my mother said that it was wiser, but the more lonely i am..

Some stories can be hard to tell or can be misinterpreted when told so sometimes those are better to be kept silent for you only, but keeping them all silent must be very bothersome to you. Being respectful to your mother is a very good thing to be, but if it is making you feel lonely maybe there is a way for you to edit it without making it seem too far-fetched so you can tell it and no one gets embarrassed? Of course I guess it depends on what the story is about as to what you do. I appreciate the response.

It depends on what kind of stories I need to share. If it's not that personal, I would be willing to share it to people I don't really know that much. But if it's something that is kinda personal, I'd rather share it with people I really trust.
I'm a private kind of person so I really think about it if I have to share it with the person or not.

Oh I can understand not wanting to share personal stories with others that you don't know. Things like that shouldn't be shared unless your confident the person won't blab, etc. Do you like to tell any other types of stories though, that aren't as personal?
I appreciate the response.

Baby this is really good discussion and I am sure that different people have different views when it comes to stories and sharing stories with other people,I am sure that some people really enjoy stories, and they enjoy sharing stories with other people, and I am sure that some people like to tell stories around a campfire when they are camping especially ghost stories, and then I am sure there are people who do not like sharing stories because they do not like talking or do not like sharing things with other people,I am not the type of person who likes talking to others and I rather sit back and not say anything when I am with a group,I do not like writing and I am not really one to share stories with others unless it is something that I am really excited about or something that is really cool and that I think other people might like, sometimes I like to talk about the past and things I have learned especially when I think it can help someone else,I will share with family members, and some people I just met depending on who it is,I prefer to tell them even though some things I prefer to write out on paper, and I will share with people if I am on the phone,on the computer or face to face because it does not really matter, and I do not usually leave things out when I am sharing a story unless it is really embarrassing or something like that,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

Yes I know that you like to tell stories from time to time just like when we first met you used to tell me about all of your friends, etc, and sometimes it was hard to keep up with because I hadn't met everyone at the time of you telling me about them. I love you.

Hi there Cowgirl. I guess i could say that i like to share stories. I have met people that don't like saying the same story twice, but i have no problem when it comes to repeating it a few times - well of course i will get bored of doing so eventually, but then every sane person would.
Some things are better to be said face to face if you ask me.

I like to tell stories, but not many people really listen to me, that is the problem. Probably that is related to my technique of storytelling. I don't know if my story is interesting to general public or not, so I prefer not to telling them in face to face. I prefer to write them out in computer, or publish them in the net with anonymous name.

Yes that way no one will know it's you but you can share your stories for the whole world to see. That's a good way to let the story teller in you out without embarrassment because some don't understand your technique! I appreciate the response.
