I have a very close knit family. We always celebrate holidays together and we eat Sunday dinner every Sunday. When someone in my family is struggling we all pitch in to help them. Our motto is if I got it you got it. I love having a close family thats always there for me. There is nothing in this world that I wouldn't do for them. My family includes my mom, me and my daughter, grandmother, 3 uncles, aunt, great uncle, sister, brother, and 8 cousins. I hope to instill family value in all of my children. I hope my family stays close forever. How close are you with your family?

I'm not at all. 60% of my family live within a 10 minute drive from my home (including my own mother and sister). They never make effort to stop by and say hello, even though they drive past by my house no less than 5 times a week each (going to/from work, running errands). None of my other family bother, I have to struggle if I pass any of them in the grocery store to get them to talk more than 30 seconds. My family really are my best friend and an ex boyfriend. They have been there more, and still are, than anyone in my family has been.

I think thats terrible, I couldn't imagine not being close with my families. But there are a lot of families out there like that. I'm glad you have your bestfriend and exboyfriend there to be your family.

I'm not really close with my family. They'll call me and such, but that's pretty much it. I find that I can't really communicate with them very easily or very well. I'm not really sure why, but it's just the way it. I feel that I'm closer to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, than to my own parents and sister.
