What do you think is the best mini van on the market? I am leaning towars a Dodge Grand Caravan if I ever can afford it,(wishful thinking
).I have seen the commercial for the one that has the hideway compartments and the second row seats that turn around to a table. With theses seats people sitting in the second row can play cards or other travel games with the back row. Most importantly there is plenty of drink holders.![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

My mom has a Ford mini van. I had a Jeep that turned out to be a lemon and Chrysler was a nightmare dealing with their lemon. They do not stand behind their products, we are actually still in court over this after a year. I would never buy another Chrysler product.

Good luck with that. The Chrysler company has been around for years.I thought that they would stand behind their products.

I am on my second one. It's a pretty good car and the other one lasted me almost 10 years (but with a transmission job about 7 years in). This one had transmission problems also, so if you're going to get one, get an extended warranty. The kids love the tv and the cup holders and all the fancy stuff though.

Thanks for the information and hint.I have not decided if I would get a built in tv or two of the one's that are portable and the screens can hand on the head rest.I have a 12 year old and a 2 year old grand daughter.I especially want lots of cup holders. In any car I never seem to have enough.

I like mini vans too. I think the best ones are, ones that are piad for, have gas in them and nothing is wrong with it and it runs good. I used to have an old sheriffs mini van, that was fun to drive. It had heavy duty shocks and was fast. Plus it was fun when you got behind someone, people thought it was a police van. It was painted black and white. We bought it at a city auction.

I do not know the best, but I am more inclined for a minivan that can also haul stuff and also can sit as many people as possible. I do not know if it would be good to have seats turn around and play cards especially if you are traveling. You might hit a bump in the road and the drinks and the cards would go flying. I head that General Motors is quite good. But I cannot recommend a particular mini van.

I was thinking the same thing about the cards. And the drinks will be in the cup holders. But,what about when people are in the back of a RV ? I do know that the rear seats of mini vans can come out to have more hauling space.

As a mini van driver, i have done my research. Consumer reports says that the dodge grand caravans are not that reliable, mechanically. They have highly recommended the toyota sienna for over 5 years. Personally, I drive a kia sedona, I can't afford the sienna, and I have had no problems out of it. No, it doesn't have the hideaway compartments, but it does have plenty of storage room and way more cupholders than you could ever use at one time. If I can rememeber corectly, it has 14 cupholders, for a van that holds 7 people, that is 2 cupholders for every person! I love my Kia, but would I ever change it for a sienna, if I could ever afford one? Yes, defiantely!

I also have a Kia Sedonna and I love it. I haven't had no problems with it and it drives fantastically. Yes, there is plenty storage and cup holders in this van. I like the three glove boxes !!! :) and then under my passenger seat is a lock box. I am getting ready for a trip so I also like the mode, mpg meter, temperature, and clock up above. All my windows are power even my back side windows and I also have a moon roof. My seats are also power. This is my first mini van and I wouldn't trade if for anything else. Then I have seen that many companies say Kia is 5 star rated for safety...
