Is April a slow traffic month?

Do you notice a drop in traffic in the month of April? The traffic to my blog and the articles in AC show a decline. Read in the forum that April is usually a slow month.

oh!! April is my birth month!!!! If it happen to be a slow traffic generating month then my birth month is gonna be in hell!!! oh Noooooo!!! lolzzzz

Ah, now I know why April is a slow traffic generating month. Half the world go to the shopping mall to buy gifts for you, another half of the world preparing a birthday party for you. No wonder everyone so busy, all because of you! Too bad there is no way to change your birth date, I want to bring forward your birth date to 29 February

I haven't noticed this, but I can imagine why it might be so. At least with me, I have less time this month because of mid-terms at school and because my job is in it's "busy season" which leaves me without very much time to surf blogs. Hopefully May will be better for you!

Maybe April is also a good month for marriage. I guess many people will be busy attending the ceremony and celebration. Plus April is either Spring or Autumn, depends on where you stay. Both are beautiful seasons for the outdoor.

I would think it is probably because people have spring fever and are spending more time outside. I know that I am. I have forced myself to stay in for a while today and catch up on myLot and also on AC.

haha, nice description "spring fever". These few days are very hot in Singapore, with clear blue sky, white clouds and burning sun. Nobody in the right mind wants to spend time outdoor. Maybe a good time for those with "spring fever" to run about and lose some weight from all the eating in Christmas and New Year.

Thanks for that! I have 2 blogs, and I've noticed that the traffic has almost come to a standstill in April. This only usually happens when I don't post for a while. I can live with it if I know it's not just me!

Hi Sandra, maybe we can take a rest during April. Since nobody is reading, we might as well take a break and start posting when the traffic picks up. I read in forums in Associated Content and Helium, that traffic is very slow in April. Our articles there hardly attract a lot of page views during April. Maybe everyone is too busy looking at the spring flowers to read anything.
