I avoid fried foods as if it were the plague. I also used to drink a GREAT deal of soft drinks every day, but have cut back almost to the point that I cannot even stomach them. I eat primarily salads, broiled meats and steamed vegetables. Low fat meats. The only beef I eat is steak about once a month, and jerkies. Yes. I drink primarily water and if I crave a soft drink, I take a sip and drink juice.

Your discussion actually made me think for awhile. What do i..? well I think, I do not eat anything specific everyday apart from nuts and chickpeas. I rather maintain a healthy diet all through. That includes, balanced diet as in bit of everything. I am not too freaky about the proportions and i think I am doing fine with a healthy BMI.

I just don't eat fried stuffs. Always use steam or boil. And also follow the guideline of 60% veg and fruits, 20% meat, 20% carbohydrates. But I think it always better to eat more veg and fruits. Raw vegetable is better than cooked ones, But I think as long as you feel good, and don't have constipation or diarrhea, it should be healthy.

Its funny you ask that, iv been to the Doc yesterday with a really bad stomach upset and hes said to give my stomach a rest from all the rubbish humans eat like oily, spicy food ect. I only eat junk food once a week but now it has to me none a week really. So he has told me to drink milk at least everyday as it is full of protein, calcium and other stuff. I avoid white bread and have done for years (high in carbs) brown bread is really good food because its high in fibre and i eat it every day. Yoghurts are something else i have and it fills you up quicker too. Brown rice and chicken is my fav. But i can get the cravings now and again and start eating crisps and chocolates.
