Have you been unable to forgive yourself? Because we are harder on ourselves than we are on others. On the surface, it seems that we're supposed to do that. To be easy on ourselves would be self-indulgent, which is rooted in the sin of pride, right?
Are you trying to find your happiness in how others treat you because you don't feel happy about yourself? Do you feel like you don't get enough affirmation, but when you do get it, you feel embarrassed and unworthy?
It will be very interesting to hear your experiences.

...Somebody very wise tell me once, that if i can forgive myself, i will forgive others too, and in this way i will forgot bad things from my life, and i will keep in my mind and my soul just good things.
Is a great tuth, but i am a perfectionist, and all time i blame myself when something don t work as i want...i asume the guilty for what i don t make wrongh, and i try all time to make all good. so i am in competition with myself, and if something is wrtongh, is my fought.Maybe i can t find my happyness becouse i ask to much, i ask honestity and simplicity...maybe is good or bad...about affirmation...is not a problem, i was almost all my life to first place..in school, in work, is not a problem this i was all time..."under the lights"

I agree with what you said.
No one is perfect. But can always try his best to excel in life.
It is quite hard to compete with your self you know.
Yep, simplicity & honesty is good to keep. Two feet on the ground!
You are a genius, but why can't you accept that?
You don't have to brag about it but to accept your own qualities is a good sign.
Thank you for responding.
