my lot rankings

I have noticed that next to peoples names there is a ranking system. Does anyone know what it means? I have tried looking it up and I did not see anything about it or did I just missed where it is at? What is with the stars after peoples names also? I like this site a lot but would like some more information about it all.

First u have to complete 100 posts then u will automatically get it no need to any thing.Happy mylotting.

So what exactly is the star rating out of a hundred? If you have a white star showing 7 and it shows 69/100 what does this mean compared to say a yellow star with 8 and 32/100?

The rank denotes your rank among all the peoples who have added that item as an interest..it increases as you put quality discussions and you get more and more responses.. And the star ratings are points among hundred...as you move your mouse cursor over the star you can get the user's points in hundred.. happy myLotting.. any confusions??

that helps a little bit, but who does this ranking? the users or mylot? I have moved my mouse over your star and see what you mean about in hundreds.
