I noticed my balance of $.57 earlier today is now $.23, Why? One thing I sure do know about it. Ciao.com is cleaning some mess from nonsense comments up to nonsense reviews. Before when you take a look into some review posted by weird usernames you'll see their points is so high and once you check their review, comments can get up to +100. OMG. Its like a "bot" being attached to a review to provide positive and "Helpful" comments. LoL. Maybe those accounts that where banned is now trying to create another account but they can't since they are already blocked by Ciao.com.
Doing good from the start gets you to the right point at the right time. In this kind of job you should comply to the TOS. or else, your banned.

Usually when i see there there is already a lot of comments on one Review i don't even bother leaving a comment and i would just rate it because i believe a review doesn't need any more than 50 comments. I'm kinda glad that Ciao has banned those members from doing the wrong things. I got a lot of friend requests from people that didn't even have any reviews put that there points were so high and i didn't understand how or maybe they were just members for a long time and never did any reviews. I'm still a member of ciao and will continue my rating and leaving comments.
