I feel sorry for both of them. But I feel that people are disappointed in Rihanna for getting back together with him. People forget that celebrities are human beings, too. And statistics state that most women that are battered get back with there abuser. Shes human just like the rest of us and I don't think that we should judge.

Hey
when i first heard about this i was shocked really because he is a role model to many young men out there. Many girls love him just like me. Iv always been a huge fan of rihannas and chris browns. But they got back together like many non celebs do. So why should fans keep a grudge if they arent. If the 2 people in the incident are ok about it then so am I. People need to think outside the celeb RnB singing box and see that they are both human too. Im not defending him in any way though, What chris did was totally wrong even if rihanna provoked him. A mans punch is more painful compared to a ladies. Anyway im glad they are back together now just waiting for them to show their faces again. Best of luck to them really because they love each other obviously since they are back together.

I don't think it is going to last. For him to beat her in the face that bad, respect for each other has already been lost. Unfortunately, some abuse victims don't get out until they go through more beatings and some never get out and some it is too late. I like both of their music, but everytime I hear it now, I think of what kind of relationship they have. The love songs don't sound romantic anymore. It sounds like a bait into his abusive life.

I would agree except they chose to be celebrities. They are both over 18 and can say "I don't want this an more." They chose to be celebrities knowing the microscope celebrities are under. Whether either of them want too or not they are role models. I'm not saying Rihanna shouldn't take him back, people change, though in Chris's case I don't see that happening as Rihanna herself said the violence had been escalating. But as a role model that adolecent girls look up too she should do something to emphisize hitting a woman is not right. Release a statement saying your going to counseling and actually go to counseling but to just take him back and let it be at that is wrong. Its projecting that it's okay to accept a man back after he hits you and just hope it away.
