I have found that programs that give prizes and gift cards instead of money usually are not scams. One program that I have worked for years I have gotten many gift cards as stocking stuffers for my kids.I have also earned the cards to buy things that we need in the house and food.
I earn prizes to also get stuff that we need around the house and also for Christmas and birthday presents.

I do a few of them too. Yes around Christmas they do come in very handy. Even for a last minute gift. I do start in the beginning of the year and check these sites regularly through out the year. Cash in all at once

I do quite a few of them also. If you want to send me some links of the ones you do so that we can compare. I will send you some back if you would like. It is always nice to find some new ones.

They are limited in that you cannot get money to get something and if you get gift cards it just pays part of the cost. You also have to shop at the store the gift cards are for. Now if you always shop at Walmart and Amazon.com then the gift cards are all right, and also sometimes the gift cards are for the store in a certain country and that means I as a Canadian could not use the gift card for the Walmart U.s. store or for the Best Buy. com. And if one cannot get a gift card for $50 or at least $25, then you will have to top up your gift card with your own money.

Well,I am grateful to get $10 or $25 towards my purchase.I do shop at Walmart a lot.I usually get my son's gift cards for Starbucks or Burger King.My oldest son drinks Starbucks coffee a lot and my younger son drives for a living and stops and gets lunch about twice with a $10 gift card and then he can buy more gas for his truck, buy more diapers for his daughter or whatever.

The best site that I can think of is Mypoints I love that site. I have earned one free gift card so far and I am working my way to another. I wish I could find some more sites such as that. If you are aware of others please feel free to share them with me. Take care and happy mylotting to you as well.

I have never heard of the stocking stuffer program. I am a member of Swagbucks, and now have enough swagbucks to cash out for a $5 gift card from Amazon. com I am going to hold onto my Swagbucks points so that I can get more of these points, and maybe save up for bigger prizes.
I am also on Gather, and their points can be cashed out for $25, $50, or $100 on PayPal, as well as other gift cards in those denominations. I've received many payments from Gather, and they are on the up-and-up. If anyone is interested in a ref to Gather, send me a private message. Same with Swagbucks, and I'll get you a referal link.
