Hi to all , do you make your own rice milk or do you buy it , i make my own rice milk and it is easy to make and very healthy, all you have to do is take about 30 grams or brown rice and boil in about almost a liter of water and cook well , cool down and put in a blender with water and all , blend well and i add 2 teaspoons of honey, keep in the fridge , only lasts for 2 to 3 days, but very healthy , greetings bignik

Hi 5mayday , i do suggest you make it at home and try it out , but please use brown whole grain rice , it is far more heathier than so called white rice, which is stripped from all the nutrients which are good for us , greetings bignik

wow that sounds great ~ didn't realize it was so easy to make! I usually do soy milk or almond milk....but I bet the rice milk is good too. And if you use brown rice you get added fiber and a little protein (I think) too! What a great idea...

HI savypat , well where i live it doesn't exist to buy it was a friend chef and colleague who gave me this recipy , he works all around the world and told me about this , and many other recipes that we actually dont need to buy but just make at home , mostly he told me that many people dont have the recipy to make products like this at home , or dont have time , the cost is so little but it can be time consuming, about an hour and a half to make rice milk, if you have a question send me a message , i am also a retired chef, greetings bignik

That sounds easy and yummy. The only issue I have is that it is not fortified. I would not be getting all of the nutrients that I would get from the store bought version. However, I also wonder if all the fortification is necessary of even good for us...
