is anyone else married to a gulf war veteran? i am and i am interested in talking to you. we have been together since 2002 and married since 2006. we currently live in wv but he is from ny and i am from pa. we are finding it very difficult to work through the va system. getting his disability raised has been very hard. also what i find difficult is that there seems to be no help for him. not that its terrible but everything it seems is being put towards today's soldiers. and to top it off the va hospital down here is not all that good. they are understaffed and overbooked. there is only one doctor that he likes and trusts, the other doctors he has..pffffttt! i am interested in hearing from you. i do belong to several groups and have started my own on yahoo. i feel that we should all band together and raise our voices as one to get our spouses help and support and help and support for us too. what to you think???
