What are the best ways to serve god?

Ways I serve God, by living my life in a manner that will glorify him, in all that I do, trusting in him and that he will provide me with my needs and even some of my wants. Going to church, praying, helping those in need, serving our church and our church leaders. I teach at church as well, give my testimony and be there for Christians and non Christians a like. Living my life as a testament to my believes

Hi Das, Really it is a wonderful question. Serving God is not difficult but at the same way it is difficult also. Give food to the hungry people; provide shelter for those who don’t have a house etc are some of the best way to serve God. If we can kind enough to poor people like a beggar, which is also a good thing. But the problem is people are cheating on this field too. They just begging money by acting as sick, I have seen many people they just paste some liquids in hand and asking money, according to them it is burning wounds, but we can easily recognize it is not burning wounds. I felt really bad how people are acting to get sympathy and earn money through that way.

the best way to serve God is to obey him. follow all his commands. thats located in John 14:15 right? and there are also other ways on how to serve our God, by helping the needy people heartily, praise him with all our hearts and thank Him for all what he'd done for us.

I have tried your ways, and I still do those things and a few more. How to best serve God for me means these things and many more: we refrain from breaking laws and deliberately harming ourselves and others, we are kind and respectful, we help others in need however we can, we love one another, and we treat others as we would like to be treated. So many ways even one person can make a difference in our whole world by serving God, by following His examples.

I set a good example to my subordinates. I also had 10% tithes to offer to my church. I also help the less fortunate people by donating whatever I can afford. I also believe that being a good daughter, loyal wife, helpful friend can also be a good way of serving god.

The best way to serve god is to serve humanity, as the telugu proverb goes 'manavasevaye madhavaseva' which means 'service to humanity is service to god' and it is what people like Gandhiji and Swami Vivekananda did!

The best way according to me is to be good in thoughts, words and deeds. If your whole life is based on doing good, not thinking evil of any body and speaking with love and understanding, your life on earth is well worth lived. This is the basis of my religion Zoroastranism. (Parsis). You have served God to the utmost by following the principles of our Prophet to the letter. One must take what God gives us , the good and the bad with equal grace, for it comes from Him. I think, prayers also play an important part in this, for through prayers we remember Him and His glory, another way of serving God.

God is omnipresent not only in every human being but in all animate and inanimate objects. There is no part of Creation where He is not present. If He were to withdraw then creation would cease to exist and none of us would be alive. When we serve our fellow humans and also animal and plant life we are serving God. God does not want anything from us because what is there that we can give Him? Everything belongs to Him but what He desire from us is our love. It is not neccessary for us to visit temples, churches and mosques to show our love. If we show our love to humans, animals and plants then we have shown our love to God and that is what satisfies Him.

This is a great question. I'm in the process of rebuilding or strengthening my relationship with god now and I think the best way to serve god is to praise, give thanks and live life in a manner that pleases god.

The rule that I can remember from the bible is to love each other as God loves us. To make it plan, I believe we should not judge each, but be kind and helpful to on another. I think the devine purpose of the human race is to be here for each other. When you help someone who needs your help, you also help yourself, in God's sight. Children are precious in God's sight and when we take care of them I think God puts another star by our names. Another way to serve God is to have faith in him and and his Son, Jesus. rely on them to take care of all your needs.

God is great! Helping others is serving god indirectly.

I think the best way to serve god, or whatever higher being one believes in is to be a kind, caring and contributing member of society.
