What do you do when you catch your friend lying?

Hello. I was just wondering what do you guys do if you know for a fact or have pretty good reason to think that your friend is lying to you? I've come across these situations in the past and usually I just let it slide and forget about it. But lately I think me doing that was a mistake because I am coming across these little lies more and more often.
So, what is your opinion? Should I just continue to let it slide or call my friends out on the lies?

I would let it go especially if the purpose of the lie is just to make himself look or feel better. I might repeat what he said to insunuate that I don't buy it.
