Hi, I was wondering whether an Attacking Defender would work.
My team usually plays against really bad teams, and my idea for Attacking Defender would be to play like a midfielder when the ball is on my teams possesion, and when they have the ball, I would sprint back (I am fast).
Any ideas/tips/contributions for this role?
Thanks in advance =D

Hi there..
Most of the teams will prefer using an attacking defender when they desperately need a goal. Most of them use this defender at the end of the match or at the end of the half time.
Its better to be a attacking defender for some time, instead of being in front all the time.Because if your team mates go for a wrong pass then the opposition team can easily counter attack and you will be behind and then you should definitely challenge the attacker, which may lead to booking.Never forget that there are good players in bad teams also.Basically players are good when they play individually but poor as a team.It all depends on the manager.
If you want to be attacking defender the try this formation:
2(DEF)-2(attackind defenders)-4(MF)-2(ATT)..Hope it works..
Keep loving football..
