I felt very excited that lm able to join my ex-colleague's indian wedding ceremony.. Another more exciting experience is, l had successfully wore my first saree in my life and looklike an Indian lady..Even her brother said that l looks so elegant and sexy..Really? Although, l don't have the chance to feel completely, how's the indian lady's life but lm really happy to be able to wear their indian culture clothing for a few hours. That few hours means a lot for me because l had been struggling and practising to wear my first saree for the first time in my life with the help from her sister. Luckily, her sister was working in an Indian bridal studio, so lm able to borrow all those neccessary indian accessories for a few hours..Phew..it was a great relieve for me.. But, lm quite sad that, during the rush, my husband had forgotten to bring along our digital camera to take some pictures that worth remembering. I only had some pictures being taken together with my ex-colleague's family and herself, too. Sorry that, lm unable to share any of my first saree picture here.

Where are you from? It seems you are not familar that there are different ways of wearing a saree as well as different types of saree. Indians wear saree not only during functions but some people wear only saree. My mother weras only saree even at home and I have to wear saree while I go to teach. Its good to look in but not comfortable to use it daily.

I am from Malaysia, an asian country..We have people of many kind of cultures and customs, living here. So, i had been used to see my indian neighbor wearing saree, especially the older generation ones. The younger generation, usually i saw they prefer to wear blouse and pants or skirts. Yeah, it's really not so comfort to wear it daily..

Hey, Congrats for wearing a saree for the very first time. Its a shame that u dont have a pic of yrs in sari. I believe that women really look very beautiful in sarees. Indian women a lot of them still wears saris in the occasions like wedding and all and it suits them perfectly. I dont know where u from .. but yea iam sure u looked great in a sari. Though i must remind u that there r various type of saris. So dont forget to take yr camera next time. These moments r pricelss. Cheers, Tutul

Thanks for sharing your view about this matter. Yeah, i do saw majority of indian ladies in my area still wearing saree in their daily life. Actually, i do enjoyed my time during my colleague's wedding. But, just too rushing to reach at my colleague's home to practise wearing saree, makes both of me and my husband forgotten to bring the camera..Yes, it's indeed a priceless moments...
