Inheritance Cycle or Ranger's Apprentice.

As you all know, The best selling series Ranger's Apprentice is the favourite of many. But so is the Inheritance Cycle. The trouble is, I don't know which one is my favourite one. Ranger's Apprentice is full of action but so is Eragon! Everytime I get a pro for one of them, I notice that the other has it too. And everytime I find a con for one of them, the other has one too! It is very hard trying to decide which one is my favourite. Please tell me some pros and cons about some.
