who are the happies people on earth? for me, people in the philippines are the most happiest people on earth. Filipinoes are known for being hospitable and kind. despite the hardship filipinoes encountered along the way, a smile is always on their face. You can make a filipino smile for simple things you did. Even to foreign countries, filipinos never forget their homeland and they are proud carrying the torch of being a filipino and being joyful despite of so many problems is their number one asset. I was able to talk to an australian IT security manager and he told me that the best people to be with are the filippinos because they entertatin them on a way even its hard to speak their languages.
Being happy does not require money on your pocket. Filipinoes are those people who has that kind of attitude. Bee happy, you are a filipino as what jolibee (a fastfood here in the Philippines like Mcdonals) says. I'm proud to be one...=)

Mmmm, I will stay with the afroamerican people who live in the coast of my country. They are very happy all the time eventhough they are poor people. When look at them, you will learn how to enjoy everything that you do like: working, dancing, talking, and a lot of things.

hello don,
well, we're just one of the happiest people in the world hee hee but I believe the same way as you. Even through the economic difficulties, Filipinos can still pull up a genuine smile on something amusing or for a person.
I've seen it first hand on my own family. Ever since I can remember, my dad was the only person working and providing for us. No matter how exhausted he looked, he still found funny things at work and told us those amusing anecdotes during dinner or lunch. I thought mom is so lucky to have a funny husband in those days and I still do think so...I know how financially lacking we are since we were young but there are genuine laughters all around us in our home ... and still are even though dad had already passed away five years ago...
hmmm... even on a tense day at work, lots of filipinos can laugh out loud on a corny joke and the tension will disappear lol... it happens many times in our own office =P

aww. I didn't mean to make you sad... smile! Our memories, no matter how sad or happy they are, make us who we are. We learn from our mistakes and from our experiences to be stronger. They are also something to look back from time to time and smile or laugh about, right?
HUGS.... ^_^

I had to agree with you that the Filipino are the most hospitable and kind, as compared to those in my country. I once saw in a hospital, a local nurse pinch an old man for being overly demanding. But if it was a Filipino nurse, she wouldn't care about what the old man had requested, but try her best to make sure she finished her job well. Filipino equals best services in the world.

I know little about Philippine. But what you have said arouses my interest of knowing them more. I like to get on with people who are optimistic and happy. If everyone has a happy mind, they will overcome any difficulty. As you said, happiness is not equal to money. You love your motherland. I love my native land, too.

Yes I am also proud of the good traits of Filipinos and I am proud that I belong. I am proud to say that we are happy people and we never forget to smile even when we are in difficult times. I guess that is what others could call a positive attitude towards life. I hate to think though that there are a lot of Filipinos who have bad attitudes too. I do not exempt myself with that because I am not helping others. I am only helping my family and my love ones but not the beggars in the street. Anyway I guess Filipinos are really one of the happiest people on earth. My husband is our family clown because he is able to make a dull day bright.

I guessed it right, you are a Filipino. Well, actually based on a news, we are just one of the happiest people in the world. According to World Values Survey, Filipinos placed 6th in the top ten happiest people in the world. But I must agree, with an economy like ours and a very depressing situation in our country, nobody can cope with it best than we are.

I agree with you as a Filipino we laugh our problems in life. We experienced a lot of hardships in life but still we always laugh and we don't take our problems too seriously. Although it is hard to do that we you bear all the problems in your shoulder but I guess you can't solve your problem with anger and rage. I think Filipinos are more optimistic than other nationalities when it comes in dealing with problems.

Filipinoes are really hospitable in nature. We (coz im a proud Filipino as well) also have strong family ties and we still value each family member. That's why most of tourists wants to stay here in philippines because Filipinoes are easy to get along with. Lastly, we were born as friendly and loving individuals! But, what I hate is the political system here in the Philippines:))

The happiest people on earth are the ones who already know their purpose. knowing the real purpose of their lives makes them happy and brave to face all the trials in life.
