Aiming to meet a requirement made me love cultures.

Recently, I decided to chase my childhood dream of becoming a medical doctor. When I went to the med school I was planning to apply, the secretary advised me take anthropology class because I wasn't able to take anthropology way back in college. And so I said to myself okay, anthropology sounded interesting anyway and my mom promised me I'd enjoy it. Our professor is so seasoned that his lectures are like stories. It's like a day with my grandfather, all of my cousins will surround our grandfather in a backyard of my Aunt's house and we'd hear his very interesting stories. Because of this, I look forward to every lecture that our professor will give us. And then we were required to go with him on a field trip to Bukidnon Province where the Kaamulan Festival takes place. It is said to be the only ethnic festival of the Philippines, a celebration of ethnic pride through the tribes' dances. It was amazing! I craved for more.
Here is a shot I want to share with you my fellow mylotters. If you want more just go to http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=71653&id=697272695&saved#/album.php?aid=71634&id=697272695. I hope you will like it. Enjoy.:)
