I read a small article about eating habits where its says bout a research comparing a group of people taking lunch and the other group watching TV while taking lunch. And the result was that the food intake of the group watching TV was much more as compared. This research also mentioned that TELEVISION TIME also INCREASED FOOD INTAKE even after the screen had gone dark.
I wonder how true is this coz I am among those who take meals watching TV alwayz.Infact I have fixed my television right infront of my dinning table.I wonder if this is true ?Friends what do you have to suggest?

I think that would be accurate because people tend to get really engrossed in television shows, so when they are eating and watching t.v they are so focused on the t.v that they don't pay as much attention to the amount of food that they are eating and don't realize that they are getting full. so therefore they eat more than if they were eating with no distraction

I think it is true. If you think about it your mind is paying attention to the tv and not what you are eating so I'd imagine it takes longer to register with your brain that you are full. But that's just my assumption.
If people stopped eating infront of a tv I think the chip & junk food industry would greatly suffer!
